Dog is shedding like crazy....need some advice!!!!

Okay we have a Beagle and he is shedding like crazy. It is to the point that I am having to vaccum the house daily, seven days a week. Now I know it is the time of year that most dogs (and cats for that matter) start to shed thier winter coats. But I have never seen a dog shed this much. This isn't the first dog I have had and none of my other dogs were this bad. I have heard that Beagles do shed a lot, but when we first got him three months ago, he didn't shed hardly at all. Does anyone have any home remedies to control shedding? I need any and all advice I can get at this point. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
