When Playing Games & You Lose, Do You Lose Gracefully Or Do You Sulk!!

I ask this because my hubby is sitting playing a game of golf on his console and losing, losing quite badly as it goes and he is getting his knickers in a right knot about it! The air around him is purple and I am sure he will have steam coming out of his ears very soon. See I am clever, if I think I might lose at a game I will quit before it gets to that point or else I will not play at all because I am a sulker! So how about you? If you lose are you graceful about it or are you a sulker?

Oh sweety I can imagine the scene! lol It isn't the wii he is on is it? My other half loves playing the wii golf as at least he has a fighting chance of winning that against the kids! It is quite unnerving how competitive he can be! Mind you the kids are just as bad! I am quite a good loser and accept defeat with maybe an excuse or two thrown in but otherwise gracefully! When I win though that is another thing altogether - I like to be very smug then! lolxxx

No not a wii, playstation 3, perhaps it was a good job it was not a wii, waving his arms about would have been worse! My hubby is very competitive, I wont play against him, he makes such a big deal out of it if he wins and he drives me mad!!

OK! It is much more fun watching them play the wii - specially if they are boxing - that makes me laugh more than anything else I can think of! I have the perfect excuse for not playing as it would hurt my back too much so I don't get involved in the winning/losing scenarios! lol

I'm not a graceful loser i'm afraid. I play until i win at least one. but i never sulk i just ask for a rematch. So you can imagine that i dont get to play much. lol.

My hubby is such a smug winner, he makes a meal out of beating me, which is why I sulk, my dad used to be the same too. I would just rather not play, I am ok when I play with the kids though, I do not mind them beating me!!

That is good, to keep trying and not give up, I am not that patient and I sulk terrible, I think this is one of the traits I have left from being an only child!!

I'm pretty graceful about it. After all it's only a game. I could see if big money was bet on it or it was a tournament or something but just a run of the mill game...nah, it isn't worth getting mad over. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I don't mind losing. Its just a game. Now if I was playing for money I might get mad.

No I could not play for money, I just never have a winning streak in any game so I would definately lose my money!

I'm a bit of both. If I am playing against my husband then I don't lose gracefully and get very frustrated and want to keep playing until I beat him. Then I'm satisfied haha. We both are very competitive and don't like losing to each other. If it's amongst friends and family members then yes I do. I accept defeat and wait until they schedule another game and try to beat them next time LOL
