Reality shows with kids

Tonight they are showing the fifth program in a reality series about single moms looking for men. Tonight the last four men are going to meet the kids. really! I think this is totally wrong. Kids do not need to be invilved in moms dateing life. And especially not like this. What do you guys think about this? Shuld kids be used as entertainment? Should kids be involved with moms dating life, and have to meet four possible new men in their lives? On tv?

Wow. I'm not totally against reality tv. (i like the drama lol) But I think this is going a little too far. I think it's too much to get the kids involved with tv and on top of that meeting a new guy their mom is seeing. Especially considering that almost none of the relationships that sprout from reality tv shows ever make it more than a few months. I think its just wrong to have these kids possibly get attached to these guys and then it all be over.

That is my main consern as well. I never liked it when friends of mine had new men over, that the kids might meet by accident in the morning. I think kids should never be involved in these things before you really think it is for keeps. having them meet four men their moms met through tv is far too bad

I firmly believe that reality programs are completely ridiculous, and involving children is just another example of the lengths desperate companies will go to just for ratings.
I never understood the reality tv craze. What good is reality if it isn't REAL? And no, it's not appropriate to use children to market a show. This is just chipping away at the few precious moments of their childhood.

Sometimes I feel like I am all alone in not liking these shows. Seems like people of all ages just cannot get enough of these shows. I think they are a sign of decay and of an unhealthy interest in other peoples lives. Nothing is better than a scandal, an imbarassment, than seeing someone break down in front ofthe camera. Wonder what will be next

There are a few reality shows that I like to watch. I don't have cable so my watching TV is limited. This is one that I would not watch. The producers of this show are exploiting the kids and the mothers. I agree with you that kids don't need to meet the men or women that their parents are dating Too many time the parents are bringing creeps into the kids live that they need protection from. Kids really don't need to be involved at all in their parents dating life.
