Yes, it is true! BOOB BAIT FOR BUBBAS is a colorful political term. It is supposed to describe tough sounding rhetoric and/or campaign promises 'meant to be broken'. It was first used in reference to proposed Clinton Welfare Reform Proposals in the early 1990's. You can learn a great deal more about the phrase 'boob bait for bubbas' by putting it in the search engine at the top of the mylot page and searching the web. BOOB BAIT FOR BUBBAS is offered up by condensending, arrogant, elitist, politicians attempting to placate the more conservative of the electorate. As I think about it, there comes to mind that there are many other types of 'BOOB BAIT' ! How about 'BOOB BAIT FOR METROSEXUALS'? e.g. The term 'compassionate conservative'. How about 'BOOB BAIT FOR MOONBATS' ? e.g. A promise to conduct an investigation into who in the government really destroyed the twin towers on 9/11. How about 'BOOB BAIT FOR PACIFISTS' ? e.g. "A promise to end the Iraq War!". Anyway, you get the idea. Provide us with your examples of 'BOOB BAIT'. Tell us just how tired and fed up you are with politicians feeding us the various types of 'BOOB BAIT'.

Isn't this really the problem in our political system? Everyone knows politicians to be liars, and they expect to be lied to. Is it any wonder no one believes a word they say? The democrats swore that they would force Bush to withdraw from Iraq if they got elected, yet it didn't happen... and what is worse, they knew it wouldn't happen. Yet to this day a lot of Americans swear that Bush misled Congress into voting for the authorization to invade Iraq. If this is true, then it means only 2 things.... Bush is very persuasive ... and Congress is REALLY STUPID.(We already knew that about Congress, but they keep verifying it by the things they do) Maybe they should have read what it was they were voting on. Raising taxes on big business and big oil... yeah right... all that does is cause a price increase as the companies pass those taxes on to consumers... Good job! Man made global warming ... just another way for Congress to shake us down for more taxes while making a big business out of something that does not exist. The only winners in this one are those climate scientists with their research grants, and people like Gore who are positioned to sell carbon credits. Meanwhile we are looking at the destruction of our economy because of this crap. We care... they care so much that they want to enslave all of us with their socialist programs such as mandatory universal health care... their politically correct agendas that make smoking wrong and alternative lifestyles right while demonizing Christianity and freedom of speech, and by passing laws that are intended to infringe upon our God-given rights and liberties. There are so many things wrong in our government that it would take volumes to list them all. Every promise that politicians make is boob bait, because it is guaranteed that some boob, or group of boobs is going to fall for it. It is nothing more than a game of who can tell the most convincing lies without getting caught before the elections are over.
