How did you propose to your wife or how were you proposed to your wife? Was it really romantic or was it a proposal? I was wondering because I need some ideas for a friend and even for myself in a year or two.

Nothing special here. In fact we don't know who asked who. We were talking about a friend of ours that was getting married and I was helping to plan the wedding. Next thing I knew we were talking about our wedding. I remember saying to him "does this mean we are getting married" he said yeah I guess so. That was it. We went out and got a ring the next day and that was it we were officially engaged.

Nothing really "interesting" or out of the ordinary happened, he just asked me one night if I wanted to marry him. We were here at home, and he had the ring (I knew it was coming, because I'd already chosen the ring). The proposal wasn't that out of the ordinary, but the marriage is TOTALLY UNIQUE and wonderful.
