I need a recommendation for a good pedometer brand. I have a Yamax digi-walker I got through my work for the walking program. To buy another one it costs 18.00. I was hoping to find a good one for cheaper on ebay. The curves ones I bought through Avon dont seem to count the steps right. Do you have one that you didnt need to program? Mine counts automatically without programing your stride in. Thats what I'm looking for.. does anyone have one? Can you give me a brand name?

I will be interested in the answer to this discussion too. I have a pedometer that I got for free for participating in a survey for a nutrition class. It seems to mismeasure my steps also. I have walked and counted steps and it was way off. It seemed to give me 2.5 credit for each step.

Yeah! Its the cheaper ones that do that. Also the ones you have to set your steps. I have an awesome one from work and it was listed for 35.00 on ebay. I dont want to pay that much for one!

I have seen a really basic one that just adds well I guess it would be counting your steps. I seen them in a dollar store. The store is called Dollarama. I don't know if you have one where you are but if you have a dollar store I am sure they might carry them. Good luck.
