How to Lose Weight!

It seems that many people today are overweight.No one wants to carry around extra pounds,lout few people know how to slum down dffectively.They look for miraclepills and magic cures.In the end,they fail and the pounds come back.But the most effective way to losing weight is actually very simple.It is a combination of a good diet and proper exercise.What makes it work is determination.It requires discipline and commitment to succeed.Here is an example that proves the truth of these words. My aunt had been trying to lose weight for years. She went on one diet after an another,but none of them worked.She lost alot of weight quickly only to have it came back.Finally,she followed her doctor's advice and began to eat simple,well-balanced diet.She eat lots of fruits and vegetables and avoided hing-fat foods.In addition,she joined an exercise class.She worked out three times a week.At first.my aunt wasn't happy because the weight came off so slowly.But her classmates encouraged her to stick to it and eventually she reached her goal.Best of all ,she was able to stay her ideal weight.That was because she had developed healthy new habits.

in my opinion, swimming is the best thing you can do to lose weight. Not just swimming once a week, I mean once a day for at least an hour. I do realize that hardly any people have that time, but I lost soooo much weight by doing that, and I felt sooo much stronger...

i agree. but one has to stick to it regularly to get good results. i think paired w/ a good diet is an effective combination.

My girlfriend is doing the same thing right now. She is eating better, and she goes to the gym at least three times a week (more when she doesn't have school work to do). It's hard work and I'm proud of the effort she's giving it. My dad and step-mom also just joined a gym about a month ago.
