I am in Tampa.

If I havent been around very often it is because I have come home to Tampa for the week. I am assisting my parents in moving to their new house in New Port Richey. It's not going very well I should say....tempers are mounting, things aren't going the way they want and they always let trivial things get in the way of their happiness. I think to myself that I hope I am not like that when I get older. I keep telling them that these small setbacks are unimportant and things will get done. Being around this much negativity is wearing on me that's for sure. I just can't wait for this move to be over and get them settled in to their new home. On a brighter side, I will be visiting with a friend I hven't seen in ten years. We left each others company on bad terms and I am very excited to spend time with his family. Our kids grew up together and I am very good friends with his ex-wife. His son will be there and my daughter is really happy about that. So, I have something to look forward to.

I hate when my parents move they move alot also within the last year they moved alot like 7 times. It makes them really irritable also and I don't know why because I am the one stuck doing the work of packing and moving they spend so much time fighting about it they gt nothing done so I do it just to shut them up..It can get violent at times.. Out of eight kids I am the only one who helps mostly out of the 7 times I think my brother helped once. I feel for you I know of somewhat whatyour dealing with with the moving and am always trying to get in get it done so I can go home for a few days to settle my nerves then go back and help put things in their place.(then the argues begin again because he or she doens't want this or that placed here or there the way the other one does. So don't ask me why I do it.I guess insanity runs in the family..lol But love keeps me helping.

Wow, that does sound like a mess! I can't believe your siblings don't help all they can just to get it done and out of the way. However, you are a good daughter and stick it out like me. That's a good trait in you! Gotta love the family lol!

Yeah, gotta love family. They always come up with excuses when it comes time to move. They also think that I should always do it casue I don't have any kids. They do. But I never understood why the wivees couldn't watch the kids themsleves..but that is how the cookie crumbles and always will. It is my destiny in life I guessThat is why my mom says she is faster to help me then them. They think it is because I am the favorite. That it is all about me. But I put alot of myself and give alot of myself they don't and I help out alot even buy them groceries every month when they need it even if it is taking away from me and my husband. That is what family suposed to do it is a give and receive relationship not a take take one. I myself havne't moved from where I live since I moved in 1996 and I don't plan on moving anytime soon. Thankfully the gypsy blood that seems to roam in their veins skipped me. Thanfully.

Well, the week went well, very frustrating though. However, we did get things done! I enjoyed my time with everyone and seeing my old friends was great!
