Would a Koala biscuit entice you to Visit Queensland?

Koala Twins - Koalas abound in most States of Australia.

If you could buy koala shaped biscuits in your local supermarket, would this motivate you to visit Australia, specifically Queensland? What if the packet of koala shaped biscuits contained a toy (of dubious vale), & a chance to win a holiday to Queensland?Well, this is what the Queensland Government are currently doing. Germans are very into Nature tours, & Queensland are hoping to capitilise on this by selling koala shaped biscuits in the German supermarkets. I am not sure if I was able to buy lion shaped biscuits, that I would be any more or less motivated to visit Africa on a wildlife tour!

Vegemite,Fosters,Paul Hogan,Les Patterson,Didgeridoos,Angry Anderson,Rolf Harris,Koalas,Wombats and Roos,Men at Work,AC/DC,Neighbours,Mad Max,The Great Barrier Reef,Bily Connolly on Tour, and Kylie Haven't managed it so far-I don't see Koala biscuits swinging the Balance anytime soon! Now, if Qantas wanted to sweeten the deal.... :)

Qantas are hugely expensive, & yes, good travel deals would do a lot more to get visitors. Mind you, tourists are coming in their droves to the mid north of South Australia, to see the set where Mc Cleads Daughters was filmed. Apparently this TV program is shown in Switzerland & Germany.

A lucky draw that may win me a trip to that country will certainly draw me. But firstly, the product itself have to be what I would want to buy. I think the hidden wish to go to that particular country would motivate me rather than the product used to attempt to entice.

I agree. I really want to visit an African country & go on a wildlife tour, but I am sure buying elephant shaped biscuits would not entice me. Winning a competition would.

My nephew and his wife visited Australia last year, I don't know what part they went to, but they loved it. I would need no encouragement to go, if I had a chance for free. I would certainly try the biscuits for a chance on a free trip. My nephew said that they would love to go again. One thing I know is that Australia is one of the more expensive destinations from the U.S. for traveling.

Yes, it would be expensive for travelling. Our prices would be much the same as yours. Australian tourism is very much capitalising on koalas & kangaroos.
