I Hate To Wear Glasses!

I have worn glasses since I was a young child. I can still remember my first pair. I got them in spring time. I know because we were blackberry picking and they made my nose sweat. LOL It is funny the things that we remember from our lives.
A couple years ago, I decided to not go with the traditional glasses. I wanted something fun. So I got a pair that was not my normal style. My Granddaughter was only 3 and she looked at me and said "Nana, You look weird". LOL
I tried wearing contacts but it just did not work. I really do not like wearing glasses at all but you do what you gotta do to survive.
Do you wear glasses?

I have worn glasses all my life, well since I was 2 years old. I have also always hated them. Now I don't mind glasses that much. Long as I can see I'm good. but then I wear glasses and I also have contacts that I wear. When I go places I will usually wear my contacts, when I am not doing anything and just being at home I have my glasses on.

Yeah I have the same dilemma when I was kid too. I hated using it but I do have no other choice back then since Contacts was not yet available in my place. I also just adapted to have it since I find it more clearer to see things when I have the glasses. Now it has become an integral part of my face. I seem to become to dependent on it that first thing I would do every morning is look for my eyepiece.

Well I think you look good in glasses ;)
I had to wear them since I was young too and hated it. Now that I'm older I really dont mind them and I tend to like the look of them. Anything is better than having to touch my eye putting contacts in though!

Yes, I wear glasses and I do love wearing them. I had always wanted to wear glasses from a young age, so when I found out I needed them over 30 years ago, it was a great day! Even though I wanted to wear them I was still self conscious at first being seen wearing glasses, but I soon became very comfortable in them and they actually helped me overcome my shyness and become a more confident person. I have always taken pride in picking out frames that made me look good and it is easy to embrace wearing glasses when you have always wanted to wear them.
