call center at home

i've heard a story from my mother that she has a friend who started making money through her call center at home. she only have 2 computers when she started and now they have several employees and 20 computer units. their earnings also tripled! from thousands to hundred thousands a month. how this home based call center work? any advice on how i can set-up something like this at home?

It's hard to do this,I think.
At the same time,I reckon that there'are some crime .
