How to protect computer from viruses?

i m a heavy user of internet. always try to update the antivirus softwares. but the hackers are more smarter than me. i found lot of viruses in my computer. do u know the better way to protect computer from viruses?

i think you need to install anti virus.. like avast it is so effective for me.. i havent encountered any virus attacks since i used avast.. :)

Anti-viruses are the best way to cure your current virus problems. But if you really do not want viruses to invade your pc then avoid downloading files from untrusted sources and portable drives that are plugged in to many different computers.

Having a top quality anti-virus software program is important. The top ones generally are not free, but offer regular updates. Also, don't forget firewall and registry repair software. Some sites can make changes to your registry, which can cause very bad problems for your computer.

install the best antivirus in the market...and update it regularly.... and install a good firewall too...to protect from attacks... and install a spyware cleaner software.. these shud keep ur system free from viruses..
