spending time with your kids while they are young is the most precious. As they grow older they find other interests. You seem to have to look back on the memories.

My children are now 30, 25, and 20 years of age, they tell me I'm a great mom because I always do my best for them! What more can a mother ask for?

I hope they stay in touch and show the love and not just say it. I hope my children do the same for me when they are older.

Motherhood is the greatest! - I always loved reading to my children when they were small.
My children are adults now, and they are both honest, contributing members of society. I think I must have done something right. I know I worked hard being the best mother I know how. My son would tell you I was the greatest. My daughter would tell you I've never done a thing for her in her life. Right!

Friendship - Yellow roses = Friendship, Thank You
I still have 3 children at home. I have a 22 daughter away from us, a 19 year old daughter, living at home but going to college a 15 daughter trying to find out who she is and a 11 year old son who is more affectionate than the girls. I have 2 grandsons by the 22 year old and I miss them terribly. I don't know how I will handle it when they are all grown and out of the house. Thank you for the comments.

I think I am a pretty good mother to my daughter. I have a lot less patience with the dog. Sometimes I think I should try to read to her more or involve with her more, but she is so all over the place that if I sit with a book or a game she'll stay for maybe two minutes, and then be out of the room.

at least she knows your there when she needs you. I have 3 daughters and they may get mad at me and we may argue at times but they still come to me when they need help not just want something. They go to dad for that. LOL I also have two female dogs and they are always coming to me. The animals are as spoiled as the kids. Thank You

I could be better by playing games with my kids and also reading with them, but I can only do so much and they are 10 and 11 now.

I have 3 older girls and my son was last. He is now 11 and started middle school. He doesn't think he needs Mom and Dad as much. That embarassed stage. But he still kisses us before going off to bed each night. My kids tell us they love us all the time so I think we've done pretty good. I miss them needing me so much. Thanks for the comment. Friend
