The most popular vegetable around here would have to be potatoes. We serve them in so many different ways, fries, baked, potato soup, au gratin, boiled, hash browns, potato salad, mashed. I'm sure there are more but that's all I can think of now.

Hi mahesh so many peoples says its is tomato, but What i believe is that it must be potato. I have seen so many ways of using potato's in india, it can be fried , chips, can be cooked as vegetable.

This is a good topic. I will vote tomato. I think it's a really popular vegetable all over the world. And it's available everywhere. It's not expensive so people can afford it. I love China

I see here a few say tomato, but did ya know the tomato is actually a fruit. Strange but true. I would say the most popular is a potatoe. Because most the time when potatoes are served there is also another veggie served too.

hey jdyrj777 You r right . Tomato is a kind of fruit. I think in stead of tomato potato is the best popular veg which has been accepted by all due to its varieties. Potato is available in all parts. pkc3000

hey dear jdyrj777 I think you are right. Though we treat tomato as vegetable but it is truely a fruit. In my opinion potato is the best popular veg. which is available in plenty and in all parts. Potato has varieties of items and I like it as it can be mixed with any other veg. pkc3000

Potato, I think. You can find potato any place in the world, and lot of prople like to eat. Also, potato can be cooked by many ways, it is vey popular.

If I had to guess I would say tomatoes. They are used for both ketchup and marinara so that would be my thought. Plus how many hamburgers a year get them put on. I dont know for sure but I would think that is right.

The potato!!!..its got to be the potaro...its so versatile...you can do such a lot of different things with it. Its nutricious...and i m sure evry family use them!!

I don't think that there's a world's most popular vegetable. Different regions of the world are incapable of growing some types of produce, and different cultures have different culinary demands.
