have you ever done a 'clean sweep' in your house?

That actually sounds like a lot of fun, sadly enough. I came home from college for spring break, and I did that to a small section of my room. I just got stuff to purge. I just wish my room was a little bit bigger for me to actually be able to go through things. Moving home at the end of the school year is one of the worst times. Then I feel like I have way too much stuff, but a lot of it, I use at school.

We are always doing this, and when we get a throwing out stage, we collect stuff that we don't need any more and take it down to our nearest charity shop so that they can sell it for good causes. I have thrown out books, toys, cds, dvds, things I never use that take up valuable room space in my bedroom. Clothes I don't need any more also go. I hate clutter, it also makes me aware of what I am buying and have to ask myself am I really going to use it or is it going to take up space and be forgotten about until it's found months later to be disposed off!

Thats the way I WANT to work on my house! I'm spring cleaning now, since the sunlight coming in the windows showed me that I needed to start!LOL! But I have a very bad left wrist, so the most I manage is just moving things around, cleaning behind them, and putting them back, plus the required sorting. If I could get a couple of able-bodied helpers, I really do it right... after 30 years here, it full enough to burst! Glad it worked so well for you... and I LOVE that show!

I am pregnant and just went through the nesting portion and cleaned out my storage closet and my daughters room. I just gave everything to charity since I live in an apartment garage sales just dont work. Its amazing how much more room I have now though. Wish I could get that energetic more often.
