Another case of "Can't fix STUPID"

Stubborn home owners living by oozing Volcano!!Thousands of visitors a day come to nearby Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to watch Kilauea erupt, something it has been doing for a quarter-century.
But some residents live with the boiling lava every day and revel in the notion that their homes and lives are subject to the whims of earth's awesome underground forces.
Earlier this month, a two-block-wide swath of lava burned through abandoned homes and reached the ocean, and people still stayed.
HELLO LAVA.. BURNING MAGMA.. TIME TO GO..any thoughts?? One guy says if the lava comes we can always move??

People can be remarkably stubborn. Especially if someone is telling them that they are wrong. Most especially if the really are being stupid and someone's telling them so. People get attached to their houses and don't want to leave. I'm sure, in this case, there is a tiny bit of self-defeating behavior or perhaps latent arsonist tendencies in these people. Lave is, I'm sure, fascinating.

Maybe they get some kind of high off of living dangerously? I know I wouldn't if I didn't have to put myself in such danger if I could find another place to live. Maybe they do it ot have somethingexciting to gossip about? Never know they say truth is stranger then fiction. As some have stated you can't get away if your butt is incased in lot lava. I seriously wouldn't take the chance although I bet the land is cheap there.
