i was surfing channels last night and I stumbled upon this music channel and they were discussing about digital music piracy. music label companies says that it is bad for their business and it is bad for the music industry. so what do you think about digital music piracy, do you agree or not?

i don't think it is bad for the artist, they are making more off of consumers buying online than in the stores. it is the music industry's fault for not taking advantage of the online music revolution when napster was at its peak. what the reality is, is that most people are actually buying the music online than stealing it. also, with the technology today it is almost impossible to have music be sacred or joyous or like an "event" or new anymore like records used to be and still are.
