I'm not a fan of the Clintons but you have to give Chelsea a lot of credit for the way she handles this interview. Chelsea Clinton had a quick retort Tuesday when asked whether her mother's credibility had been hurt during the Monica Lewinsky scandal. "Wow, you're the first person actually that's ever asked me that question in the, I don't know maybe, 70 college campuses I've now been to, and I do not think that is any of your business," Clinton said during a campaign visit for her mother, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. Even though she's not a "kid" any more I think the media should keep her out of the problems her parents had. What are your thoughts? Did she handle this interview well? Should she have been asked questions about "the scandal"? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080325/ap_on_el_pr/chelsea_clinton_lewinsky_1

I think she handled the question very well. Good for her. I think one of the reasons she only takes questions from students and "regular" people rather than the media is to hopefully avoid those tasteless, intrusive questions. She handled this question with grace and dignity and at the same time put that person in the corner. No matter what we think of the Clintons, I think Chelsea has grown into a fine, intelligent, smart woman.

I totally agree with you. She did a great job and I'm surprised at the good job her parents did raising her.

I agree with you and the previous poster. Thank goodness someone stands up for themselves! Who would ask that, anyway? That's such a private family matter, and this reporter showed no class by asking it. And, like you said, you go, girl!

The media will never change. Sensationalism is what brings in the money and if they can ask questions to get some sensational answers they are proud of themselves. I think in this case they were a little let down.
