Do You Use Dr Bronner's Magic Soap?

I keep seeing this product and everywhere I do see it, it's so highly recommended. It's expensive and I don't understand how so many people could be gushing over it when it's just SOAP. Some places I've read that the soap is "multi-purpose" but of course, they do not say how it's multi-purpose. So if you use it, please let us know all about it! I see on the Dr Bronners website they also have organic hand soaps as well as a multi-purpose cleaner and shampoos and conditioners. Have you tried these? How did they work for you? Would you buy them again, even though they're expensive? Thank you!

hi rowantree-i haven't heard of these soaps yet i use ordinary soap sometimes to wash something off my clothes that is just as good as what these multi soaps sound like that you are talking about i think soaps like the ones you are saying are really just ordinary soaps but are just more expensive-thats how people make their money eh- littleowl

It's supposed to be environmentally friendly and it's fair trade and all that yoo-hoo. I might be wrong, but I *think* it's nothing more than castile soap. Which I might be wrong again, but I *think* you can buy that for less than $1 a bar at the grocery store. I keep seeing this Dr Bonner stuff being recommended online and in articles, so I am just left wondering what makes it so special. Good to hear from you! :)
