Who knows where Croatia is without searching on net or looking in atlas?

Hi people, i am new on myLot and i'm from a country called Croatia (Hrvatska). Since this is my first discussion i decided to be about country i live in. I was curious how many people know about it... If you have heard about Croatia please write here what have u heard and where did u heard about it.

hi there. i know that croatia if found in europe. i'm not sure if it is near the scandanivian peninsula or near the asia minor. i know croatia have great a football team.

My family is from Croatia so I definitely know where it is!!! I've only been able to visit once since I was a baby but it was such an amazing trip!! I made a lot of good Croatian friends that were my age from the program I was on and got a chance to visit my relatives and see where my great grandfather was born. Zagreb was an awesome city to explore and experience especially with all the cafes (watching the World Cup in these cafes were an incredible experience- too bad Croatia wasn't in the final.....). I mainly experience Istria on the coast which was beautiful and cannot wait to experience Dubrovnik when I go back. I'm glad it's becoming more and more discovered and especially how well it is doing right now in Euro Cup 2008!!
