Do you dump your bags or whatever and head straight for the loo? Or do you put the kettle on first? Or do you do something else? Me, I am straight in the door, kettle on and then the loo and then its the tv. Then after that its put my shopping away if I have any and then computer on!!! What do you do first?

That is similar to what I do, except for the fuss Gissi, I do not have a Gissi to fuss, although I am very tempted to after seeing your little cutie!

At the gate, I'd probably make a commotions from openning it. Next, if my parents are at home, I'd take one of their hands and place the back of it on my forehead as I bow to them (custom in culture). Set aside anything that I have brought and change my clothes. Its either I try to use the computer or eat something afterwards

Is that custom just done with your parents as a mark of respect or is it something that is done with everyone? I think food comes last on my list, computer as soon as I can, think I am getting addicted.

I usually dump my bags, put groceries away and then sit down and relax. I may even put the kettle on for coffee. It really depends on where I have been and what I did that day. Some days I'm just exhausted from running errands and I just come home and lie down.

Coffee is nearly one of the first things I do, I need it after the stress of a morning in town!!

I think I put the kettle on first I like to wind down with my cup of tea, lol. Then I will do some chores (boring stuff), then I will go on the computer and television later on in the night.

Oh gosh yes chores are boring I agree, and there is always so many of them too. I try to get them out of the way as fast as I can.

The first thing I do is get comfortable. I hate to wear street clothes, so put on some shorts and T-shirt. Then put away groceries if I have any. Then computer time.

See sometimes I wish I could just come in and get into comfy clothes, but most days that I go out is to take the kids to school and so I cannot do that because I have to go back out again! Computer time is good though.

first thing I do is put my purse away...then I take off my jacket...What happens next depends on where I've been actually...for example if we've been doing the groceries the next thing I'd do is start putting them away THEN I take off my shoes and put on comfy clothes..If we've just been out and about doing nothign in particular I do purse, jacket, shoes, comfy clothes..

It actually depeds on how long I traveled for. But most of the times I go straight to the bathroom, then sit at my desk to relax, and then I start to unload my bags so I won't have to do it later.

I also unpack bags as soon as possible because if I get on the computer then they would just defrost if I had frozen things!!

whenever i come home from work or a weekend outing, i always go straight to my room to change for a more comfortable house dress, i will then clip my hair and wash my face to freshen up. afterwards i will will make myself a cup of coffee and sit in the living room while exchanging chat with my mother. hours later just before i go to bed i will turn my computer on to surf the net for about an hour or two then finally go to sleep. its my daily routine actually. :)

I do not change until the evening time when I put the kids to bed, as I am in and out through the day collecting and taking to school! But then as soon as I can its pyjamas on, and then back on the computer. Nice to hear from you and thanks for responce.

I get home. Drag my bag upstairs, throw it into a corner. Put some PJs on. Turn on my computer and TV. Go to the bathroom. I never get tired of the routine.

Brilliant! I kind of do the same, except pjs do not go on until the kids go bed as I am in and out of the house all day. Have a good day, thanks for coming to chat!

No rush to the loo then first? In our house there is usually a queue for the loo when we all get back in!!

Yep identifying with you with the loo, and the kettle!
Mums do love their garden centres don't they, and they tire you out, mums definately seem to have more energy than their children at times. Yes apparently so my hubby informs me that means you are shouting at me!
Well you should sleep well tonight he he. Thanks for making me laugh.
