mylot topic.Today I have seen and responded to a baby in a microwave. A poor girl whose mother has just passed. A man being robbed by a craigslist hoax. Let's go for something happy. I got the ball rolling. 1. Dip what food in chocolate. 2. Cute kitty with heart on fur...Your turn! Tell me something cheerful PLEASE!

I don't have anything cheerful to add since my morning hasn't been that good. The only thing cheerful that I can add is that I'm still alive and still able to talk to all you wonderful people here in mylot.

oh! I was thrilled first thing this afternoon when I saw maddysmommy's post about her Mother and Aunt deciding to fly over to the states from New Zealand. It has been some time since she has seen her family and is anxious for July to come :)

I'm still here ersmommy. I'm breathing and all my bills are paid. My dog is happy, my husband is playing golf, and I'm still happy. We're all healthy and have plenty of food to eat and snacks to fill our cravings. And ----I'm going to buy new shoes today. Shoes always make me feel happy.! :)

My son brought home his report card yesterday and he brought his C+ in math up to an A- and his C in Reading up to an B. My baby girl learned how to say tickle tickle tickle this past week and has been running around the house laughing like a manic trying to tickle people.

You are trying so hard -- but when you begin with the microwave baby story, it makes me too sad to come up with something cheerful. Ugh. Let the sneaky ninjas :ninja: come and execute whomever put the baby in the microwave. I can't get it out of my head!

Keep reading this till I come up with a good cheerful one. A man walks into a doctor's office. He has a cucumber up his nose, a carrot in his left ear and a banana in his right ear. "What's the matter with me?" he asks the doctor. The doctor replies, "You're not eating properly."

Ok, here's something oddly cheerful for me...I'm not pregnant! Why is that so cheerful? Well besides the fact that I'm not interested in anymore babies, this is the longest I've gone without being pregnant in the 13 years since I became pregnant with my oldest child. Woohoo for me! LOL Something else cheerful...doctors aren't all money hungry uncaring idiots! Well ours isn't at least. My baby has croup again now too and I really didn't want to drag him out on a windy day to pay $20 at the doctor's office just to be told what I already knew he had. So I called them and explained and they phoned in his presciption for me! His dad can pick it up on his way home from work and I can keep him inside and warm and keep an extra $20 in our pocket.
