Ok, this is weird... maybe another mylot glitch?

I received a email notification from someone that was not on my friends list. I went to post a message on a picture she attached to her discussion and it said I couldn't post because we were not friends (not those exact words but you know what I mean) . I went and checked her profile and sure enough, we are not friends (yet LoL)
Have you received email notifications from those not in your friends list?

I actually got a pm message from mylot saying that they were aware of the situation and were looking into getting it fixed. I have noticed that I am getting some of them again but not all. Thanks cupid!@cupid74 (11388)

might be they want us to become friends with those people
they might have started match making as well

Can't say that I have or haven't...only because I am a day behind and am trying to catch up...The one thing I have seen is duplicate discussions...Now that is annoying but no ones fault...It must be the system is having a glitch..

I heard others say they were receiving duplicate discussions too. Mylot did say that they were working on the issue so that is a good thing. I just rely so heavily on my email notifications.

At first I thought I was going to have to overlook this discussion because I hadn't noticed it happening to me so I thought I didn't really have anything to add, but then I looked through my email and saw that I had two 'friends' in my inbox that I had never even heard of! It's the first time it's happened to me. I guess it was just a glitch but it's kinda funny that I thought it hadn't happened and there I was with two random people in my inbox.

It seems to have gone now but I am still not getting my friends notifications, even when others post to my discussions.

I have taken myself off the notifications because well, as you can see by the myLot digest, some of the posts require a simple one or two sentence for an answer, and I go on to the myLot web page and look for ones that take quite a while to answer, that is at least four lines. I have received notifications from the friends I still have on there, but I have not got any from a non friend, so it has to be a myLot glitch.

I am thinking of doing that since the upgrades but the thought of going through all my friends list sounds too much work for me. I have received a few more non-friends emails and not one from my friends list.

Recently, same thing happned with me. I received e-mail notification of some discussion started by those, who were not in my friends' list. I also felt surprised and preplaxed.
On the other hand, I have not been receiving, e-mail notifications of discussions started by my friends, latetly and they have not been receiving alerts about my discussions.

Wow that is freaky. But yea sometimes there may be glitches in the system that you may face. I don't think that I have not been facing these types of problems. If it is a problem, like a serious one I hope my lot can fix it.

I hope they can too. It's really annoying when they do these upgrades and the things that were working are not working now!
