A few years ago I was training in another part of the country. I was about 6 miles in and saw some wild dogs..... They wanted a piece of my body...I came upon an old farm shed in the woods. Abandoned. I went in and the first thing I saw was an old Axe Handle proped against the wall..Then I saw old chain saw chains handing from a nail..At once I had an idea..I wrapped the chains around the head of the axe handle..wrapped some thick gage wire around that and gave it a couple a dozen twist type kinks ever few milimeters so it would get tighter around the chains...it worked..I was sure how strong it was or if it would bust after smacking the first dog in the face so there was a few 1940 looking abandoned trucks over grown weed and tree...I tested it out on the windshields and it held fine...I saw the dogs again and they got right close but I never got to use it...The next trip a few days later I took my Mossberg M88 and planted one after it went after my dog....
