O K....so are there any other girls out there , who are not official Lumber -Jacks
But are Fascinated By power tools ?
A few years after my husband and I were Married.....
He told me he wanted a Chainsaw for Christmas.
So I found One. A great One.
I had never Operated One before , but later that Spring I figured I would clean up some of the Back woods.
How Cool!!!!!!!! Now I know why guys love these things !!!!!
My husband didn't know about this untill he came home from work , and discovered that the Chain no longer fit the track of the Chainsaw.
That's right.....I stretched the Chain. who knew these things require Bar-oil ?
After turning ghostly white upon finding out I had run the Chainsaw all afternoon....I was told never to touch his Chainsaw ever again.
Say....do these things come in pink ?
I really Dig power tools how about you ? And no.....I do not look like " Big-Bertha " , or Bob for that Matter. Girls can like power tools and still be just girls. Comments Welcome.....

I completly agree with you!! I tke a drama degree that's quite a practical based course, and as part of it we have to work in construction on a show that the department is putting on. The department has it's own work shop with a serious amount of equipment in it. When I first started I was scared of these machines - the kind that you could easily lose a few fingers to, but now it's been a couple of months I'm really into it. I love working with metal, grinding and welding - things that create sparks! I've learnt a lot about working not just with regular power tools such as a drill or saw but the more heavy duty ones such as a welder. I am completly in love with working with this kind of equipment to build sets for shows - so much so I'm hoping to design and manage over the building of a set later on in my degree :)
