What have the Democrats done?

United States

This is a legitimate question. I mean no bias by it. I read an article from Canada recently that made some strong points about all the former Republican candidates and the Democratic candidates. Basically what he said was that none of the Democratic candidates have any experience at all. Hilary and Barack are both one term Senators. And that's pretty much it. http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/fullcomment/archive/2007/12/26/theo-caldwell-democrat-or-republican-the-question-is-shockingly-easy.aspx Now I have not lived in New York or Arkansas and I have not lived in IL for many years. Can those of you who do share with me what makes them qualified to hold what is agruably the most powerful position in the world? I sincerely want to know.

Well for Hilary, her whole "so much experience" that she keeps talking about is her time as First Lady (which does not mean much in my book), and as for Barrack, well, I have no idea. Just his Senate term I guess... It is puzzling how they have come to the position that they are in. lol

They are both senators. Have they sponsored any bills, or come up with any solutions to anything? I know McCain has many things that he has gotten pushed through. I don't agree with them all but at least he has something to point to that he has accomplished. There has got to be something they've done.

That first lady bit is kind of like Brett Favre's wife saying she should be a head coach since she was married to the NFL MVP for all those years.

I had heard that comment about Mrs. Favre before. I always get a good laugh out of it. Thanks for sharing.

Neither one of them are qualified to be the President. I mean Hilary basically hasn't really held a job since she married Bill and Obama has really never held a job at all. It seems that in the Democratic party, what you say are you intentions are all that matters.

Well, that's pretty much what that article said. But they have to have done SOMETHING, haven't they?
