I am now on my 35th week of pregnancy. In a month or less I would see my baby. I can't wait now. I have been doing a lot of preparation. But they say I should get smart advices from already moms. This experience is so new to me and I can't help but get excited about it. I hope you could help me out on what to do and what to expect. I would be very glad to accept any advices u could share. Thank you.

Becoming a mother for the first time in life can be difficult. You need to try and get everything set up before the baby is born so that you will have time to rest up. I would go ahead and get the bed setup, clothes, diapers, wipes and everything put up for easy access. If you plan on bottle feeding you need to stock up on some bottles and spare nipples.
The last couple of weeks before your baby is born you need to rest as much as possible because you will be exhausted not only from the labor but from waking several times throughout the night for feedings and changings. You want to be healthy when the baby arrives so this would be worth it.
Also you need to have a strong support system being a first time mom. Make sure you have someone around to help you for the first few weeks on cooking and cleaning, even having someone around for you to take a short nap would be nice. Also would help if you could have close contact with someone who has experience with children in case you need advice or help.
Don't forget to buy a car seat and some small blankets to wrap the baby in for the ride home. Pack a bag within the next week for you when you get ready to go you will have it all ready. Make sure to pack lose clothing that doesn't apply a lot of pressure on your belly as it will be tender when you first get up to walk around after delivery. Don't forget to grab it on your way out the door.

Thank you very much. Your ideas have opened up a lot since I know that I have been doing some preparations but I haven't thought about some of what you have discussed like getting myself ready by resting for the last few weeks or days of giving birth. You're advices are greatly appreciated.
