Never made me cringe at all. I love piercings and I really do appreciate them. Yes they are not for everyone as some love them and have tons of them. I don't think it's a bellybutton either. It sure doesn't looke like one. It could be a nipple but then again I could be wrong. As it really doesn't show that.

It doesn't make me cringe either. However when I got my belly button pierced we didn't use any special tools. I was sitting in the computer chair one day when my now ex approached me and told me to turn around. I did and next thing I know he stuck a needle through the skin right above my belly button. It didn't even really hurt. I had just had a baby 5 weeks before hand and thought it was strange that he wanted me to get it done that soon. Now it's been almost 3 years and I still love the belly ring. I even wore it throughout my last pregnancy and took it out right before the deliver since I had a c-section. After the surgery was completed and I was in my room I put it right back in.
