my friend has endless needs. I mean I'm contented with my cellphone yet she keeps on wishing that she will have the latest gadget. I don't think it would matter that much. Don't you think? Are you also like this?

It doesn't matter to me about the latest phone or other gadgets, because soon as you purchase a new one, another one is coming out shortly. As long as I can make or recieve calls that is fine with me. lol. I just can't keep up with the jones'. now I will say this, I just purchased a new phone, I take that back I got it for free, it was an upgrade, but I had my old phone for two years. I just love being frugal i guess. lol.

It's impractical for me and it can't even be classified as a need to have the latest gadget but a WANT, it could even be an addiction already if it is affecting her daily life badly. I know a friend who doesn't want to be left behind when it comes to cellphones. I think he had tried almost all high-end cellphones and we had bought some of his own. The good thing with him is, he dispose the gadget right away and buy a newer one when he gets money. For me, it don't matter at all if you have the latest or not as long as you have something that you need. Since texting, calling and taking good pictures are all I need in a cellphone, I don't mind keeping my k750i for more than two years now. What matters is that I seldom run out of load unlike my friend who got the latest but cannot even afford to top up or reload their sims.

I'm cheap. I go with whatever is cheapest. I don't care for all the "new" gadgets. They come out to often and to many people think they have to have it. I have seen many people whom have put themselves in debt because they HAVE to have this and have to HAVE that. I didn't even own a cell until recently because we don't have a house phone and I would rather pay as I go so that if I have an emergency I can contact the proper place. The only other cell I had was also a prepaid cell, but it was a friend of mine's that was moving away. She gave it to me and told me to put $40 a month on it and it would last, which it did.

I don't even see the need for a cellphone. It hardly rings and I don't get messages. What I want out of a cellphone is just simply connect when I need to make a call and have a camera so if I ever have an urge to take a photo, I will have one on hand. As long as it is not broken, I do not have an urge to change it.
