Who Grooms Your Pet?

Do you take you dog(s) to the groomer or do you attempt to groom your pets yourself. Will your dogs let you clip their toenails? I have to take my Wolfgang to the groomer. I like to keep his hair cut short, especially in warmer weather. He hates his feet messed with and loves his groomer. It's easier for me to let her staff groom him than for me to spend 2 to 3 hours on him.

I have these two wonderful ladies that take care of my wonderful Cocktail. they are older woman and they too like to have their cocktails, but they do such a wonderful job with my sweet doggie. Besides they are close to my home and only charge me $40

wow now that is a great price. but trust me, $40 is cheap because they run you a whole lot of cash. i would pay it though, my cocktail is my baby, even when she is a pain in the butt

I groom my dog myself. He hates the clippers and hates having his nails clipped but he is comforted by having someone he trusts there. But If it took me 2 to 3 hours I would probably go to the groomers too.

If I don't keep his hair short, it drags the ground and things get stuck in his hair. That's not a good thing when you try to get those things out. He also has sensitive skin. Poor baby.

I groom him myself, but honestly there's not much grooming required for him. He's not supposed to be trimmed at all, so all I do is brush his coat a few times a week to remove tangles. I clip his toenails too once a week, I got him used to that when he was a little puppy and never had much problem with it. He doesn't like it much and sometimes he still tries to pull his feet away from me but since I have never let go of his feet regardless of what he's tried he realizes pretty soon it doesn't help and he stops trying.

Well I groom my dog myself, not a hard task for me at all, because he loves all the attention, which he isn't crazy about nail clippers, but probably the only one he will het touch him with those things.I rather spend the time with my dog loving hime and grooming him than to pay someone else to the very exact thing.

I do my own dogs grooming, or my dad does it when i go to visit for a day. We shave them with clippers when their hair gets too long, in the summer we keep their hair very short. I clip their nails myself. My puppy gets rather agitated when other people touch her feet and she gets a bit nippy. I find that she gets more and more patient with clipping the more often we do it...when she was first clipped she howled the entire time now after 2 years she'll lay still until we try to do her belly then she tries to escape.
