Do you tell your secret or ideas to your friends?

I am a person who enjoy sharing my ideas with my friends. Well, I must say I used to be such a person.
Recently, I found that one of my friends used my idea and my plan to start a business without even telling me before.You know, I felt like she was cheating on me, she just liked a thief who stole my creativity!
I am so angry!I guess I will never say my idea or secret to those so called "friends"! I feel so sorry about that since friend,in my dictionary, means sharing and supporting!

A friend that steals an idea of yours and keeps it a secret from you is no friend at all, in my eyes. If a friend ever did that to me, I wouldnt consider them a friend any more and I would make it known that I felt betrayed by their actions. Actions do speak louder than words and I would encourage you to reevaluate your friendship.. I dont doubt that it wont happen again.

I do that too but there are confidential and important informations that I keep to myself. I can't just tell around whatever I have in mind because other people, even though they are my friends, might misinterpret my being outspoken and trusting as bragging or tacklessness. I have some really close friends that I trust so much but I still keep some informations from them, I choose what I tell them coz some might use it against me someday. I only share my idea when asked, unless it was being tackled and if what I know seem so valuable, I would gladly share it. If my friend will use and won't even acknowledge me as his/her source, then that would only mean that she is not worth being trusted. I'd be more careful next time. We don't run out of ideas anyway.

I do. I share all my ideas with my best friend only!! We being friends for 9 years already and she shares a lot of hers too.
I'm sorry about what happened to you and your so called "friend" I had a friend like that years ago and I got rid of her, in reality you don't need people like that.
