lol...my husband does apologize in his own way...pretending nothing happened (it used to get me mad at first...but I realized it's his way of apologizing)...and making litte funny jokes to get me laughing.
But keep in mind each person is different...you ought to kow what ticks with your wife.

For normal, Indian housewives (which I am not..lol), I've seen just pretneding nothing happens works.
My mother-in-law is one such person...and I used to wonder how she could just forgive the way my father-in-law snaps at her! I would think...if ever my husband did that to me he would get a talking to...and maybe because of it I would react more harshly than I normally would have. But I soon learnt that silence works better...and he is apologetic and like I said shows it in his own way. Sometimes, he does talk about it and say that he knows he was wrong to snap at me...but by then I would have got over it already.

I guess it's a case to case basis. It depends on the person. But of course, apologizing is a good start. A little space won't hurt as well, but don't take the space for granted. Women in general are complex people. Just be sincere in apologizing and I am sure all will be well. Happy weekends!
