You've tried the portforwarding instruction up to last detail, make sure you didn't miss a thing, search further to the edges of the universe if something could still be done and yet ... Your port does not appear open ... My friend we're on the same boat. Our ISP, due to economical reasons, limit us to a dynamic IP, our torrent cannot connect to us because so many of us are sharing the same IP!We need not search far. The solution is in us ... right in our pockets. Anyway we could still download so much for so little ...

I wouldn't ask the isp as you can do it yourself for free. www.portforawrd.com has a walk-through for doing this as well as for the whole port forwarding thing.

With my ISP you can have a static IP... if you are willing to pay extra. Otherwise, my IP is static as long as I keep the same connection with the modem. Anytime the modem retrains or otherwise has to reconnect to the switch I am reassigned a new IP address.

You should ask your ISP to make a static IP, but may be need some money. you can use dynamic dns to get static hostname event you have change your ip address.
