I should have been more clearer on my previous discussion I stated that, " why do people post links on discussions when it is against mylot guidelines." So now I am correcting myself, I knew what I meant, but I did not explain myself clearly. I meant to say you are not allowed to post referral links, where people try and advertise their sites and try to get you to sign up under their name. You are allowed however to post useful links on discussions and responses. For example often people post the link from where they got the news article information from for their discussion. So please forgive me.......

No problem I wish you could edit discussions after you have done them. That is why I thought I better fix my error and post another post.

Hi littleowl, my last discussion was similar to this except I said you are not allowed to post links, which I meant to say referral links only. You are allowed to post useful links that help your discussion just not referral links like the one I messaged you my friend. I have never put my referral link on any discussions or responses as, one I knew we were not allowed to and two I don't want to bombard people. I have only asked a couple of people via message like yourself if they are interested in being my referral as I want to help them make money too. Have a great day my friend.

ALso for people that do post referral links on sites results in warnings from mylot if detected and also sadly the discussion deleted. That is what promted me to write the discussion in the first place as I had a discussion deleted, I am assuming it is because quite a few people posted their referral link in the responses to my discussion. I think it is not fair if that is why my discussion was deleted as I did not post the referral links myself. SO you are deducted points, earnings and lose your discussion, not happy.

hi kiran-i agree its not fair that you have to suffer because of someone else doing that if anyone should the person who sent the referral is the one who shold have there message deleted and lose earnings etc-i hope ithasn't affected you too much your friend littleowl

Don't be so hard on yourself. It was just a minor detail that anyone can forget. You were intending on something good and even resurfaced a guideline that most of us, well, include me on that, don't even know or take for granted by those who still post referral links in their discussions.

What matters is the good that you were intending. Others have been clarified with that when you replied to their responses to your previous discussion so what's left is for them to read your replies to be clarified about it.

hi kiran1978, that's okay. thanks for clearing it up, and you are forgiven by everyone, I believe. and thanks for rating my response back then. I know some people are just irritating, and risk their own earning chance in order to get referrals everywhere they thought it would be possible to 'attack'. to my amazement, some members with 4 digits number (after their username) even posted their referral links in some discussions I found. I think maybe they just never read the guidelines, that could be possible.

No need for forgiveness. You're perfectly entitled to make mistakes. You're human after all :) And as others have said, it helps to educate those who forget (or don't even bother to view) the guidelines. I'm sorry if my response to the original post seemed like a rebuke. I was just trying to clarify things to avoid confusion.
