What is Your Comfort food?

When your down and out, or just in need of comfort what is the food that gives you the most comfort? Also why does it comfort you? Does it remind you of something good in your past, or it does it just make you feel better in general. My comfort food is chocolate. It doesn't take much to help me feel a little better. Maybe it's because it's filled with endorphins that make you feel good.

well i have three choices of comfort foods. that is it depends of the availability. i like to eat oatmeal cookies when i am down. a cup of coffee and a very cold chocolate drink. those are the food that cheers me up when i am down

No particular food for me.I just want to eat a lot when I am down and out,and I want to eat the food with high calory that I don't eat very often.I don't know why, maybe I just want to pamper myself.Oh,sweets,I would eat lots of sweets, such as icecream, chocolates and cookeis .

Every body has different kinds of comfort foods ranging from meatloaf to angel food cake. The possibilities are endless. My personal favorite comfort food is Lay's Classic potato chips. I have no idea why. I like the crunchiness and saltiness. All I have to have is a few. It takes me quite awhile to get through a bag of chips. They do make me feel more comforted. I am also 'better' if I just have some in the house.
