A friend of mine gave me some hand me down clothes but the pants were too small for my son. But they were the perfect size for my 4 year old daughter. They were really good pants (Tommy Hilfiger and Gap) so I gave them to her. She is wearing a pair of the Tommy ones today. They are carpenter style. She loved the overalls the best. She said they were her farmer pants. They are obviously boy pants but she says she doesn't care.

I dont think it matters really. I am 26 and still wear boy clothes. Sometimes they just fit better. If she is comfortable in them let her wear them. My kids trade clothes all the time. I had 2 girls and one boy. He is the smallest, but I put him in some of the girls old pants. Of course he is too little to care, but when you have clothes handed to you, let them wear what fits. I dont oput him in pink or anything, just the jeans.

I feel personally at 4 yrs. old this should be no BIG deal unless you or someone make it one. I remember when I was growing up I was always wearing hand me downs from someone, and honestly most of the time I would have never cared, and just been Glad to have some Clothes to wear. And those are Great brands of clothes, so it it good that someone in your family could use these.

Girls should only wear girls clothes and boys should only wear boys clothes, remember that Adam only wor eone fig leaf and not 3, it is the way god intends things to be.
