My friend and I sold Easter baskets along the streets but things didnt turn out the way we had anticipated. We made a profit of $450.00 each which I guess was good.Unfortunately that is nowhere near enough to get my ills paid off.I just dont know what I am going to do.I need more money making ideas, any help would be great.

You could make small baskets and sell them at local craft sales. Baby baskets would be a good idea because people are always looking for baby shower gifts. Or perhaps gift baskets filled with bath products, they would make nice mothers day gifts, which are comming up soon.

i think $450 is very good for selling Easter baskets along the street... you say that you make a profit of $450 each... that means it is a total of $900... that is a big sum of money... if you are creative and like to make crafts, may be you can make cards, boxes or baskets and sell them every week in the sunday market... that can give you a nice profit as well... good luck...

I think $450.00 is good, but I guess if your goal was to make more I understand. You can always make some more for Mothers Day, how about on the weekends make some other items and sell them at a flea market.

maybe you can do better selling fruit and vegetables along the street? I have seen many hucksters making money like that! If you make it cheaper, more people will buy some and you will earn more! I would love to buy some bananas right now!

Sorry you didnt make as much as you thought you would. What kind of easter baskets did you make? Like what contents and stuff. Sounds like you did pretty good though :)

Did you make these easter baskets yourself? If you did and you have a craft streak in you then why not try and think of other things you can make to sell? You can turn any craft you have into a sale if its quirky and good enough, I knit and I knit blankets and sell them, I do cross stitch and when I complete them I sell them. I also make cards from time to time and sell them in packs of five. Just try and use the skills that you may already have and turn them into cash instead.
