No best responses since February 20, 2008....

Well, this is really on of the plain mylotting days of my mylotting life. I have checked my best responses menu and sad to say I was frustrated to see that I only got the last best response given last february 20,2008 and after that until now I didnt have any best responses.
Well, I can understand that there are more nice posts and replies from almost 124, 000 plus mylotters. Or maybe i didnt spend time answering other discussions thats why I didnt get the chance to have best responses yet, or else maybe my replies were really no that pleasant and worthy enough to be chosen as best response.
Hmmmm, i will have to try this month or if not try again next time. Maybe it will come and I will have to exert much effort when it comes to replies coz its the factor that would make me the bst response
How about you mylotters, when was the last time you got the best response?Hope we can share and encourage one another here.

Well Zelmarq, don't be down hearted. Getting best responses is very subjective and it's all depend on the discussion that your response too. I'm not really into best response although at time I do feel glad when my responses were chosen as best responses. This month so far, I earn 2 best responses.

Yes thats very true and its all in the hands of the owner of the discussions and we are helpless and just wait for their verdict. Its beyond our control, whats in our control is the way we address and give our opinions on issues and discussions here on mylot.

Yes, you are right. It is beyond our control. It is a matter of the owner of the discussion likes our ideas when we responded to his or her discussion. It is very subjective indeed. Have a good day. Thank you for responding to my comment.

Please don't feel upset to it. There is a famous saying: Participating is much more important than winning. You know we can only choose one best response. And if a lot of people reply to the same discussions, then the possibility we get the best response is lower. Keep on happy posting. After all, best response is only a bonus

Well thats bad Zel. I hope you get other BRs in due time.
The last time I got a best response it was...well...today!
Two of them in fact. Yesterday I got four.
Being selected best response... it can be hard and other times you may wonder why you weren't selected. An outstanding response will help. However, there are times a person never comes back to the discussion to choose a BR. Other threads don't really need a BR. In the end it depends on what the author wants. I wouldn't stress or worry over it though Zel. Just have a good time here on lot.

The last one I got was from last night. But to get that it took hard work. People want to hear real stuff. They are not going to want to hear fake and phony things. So when I talk to people I want to be as real as possible. I think that it is important to be active and productive in order to be successful on here. See we have to help one another out.

Yeah well I have never had a best response since I joined mylot,I guess I don't have the right anser for anyone,which does not bother me because I'm here enjoying what I'm doing,and I guess you would call it a bonus when someone here thinks you responded well enough to get the best response.

Thats the spirit sassy, I know sooner or later you will experience that here and you will truly feel the joy of having best response. Its good that you are enjoying here the I am and the way more of mylotters here too.

maybe you mostly take part in discussions with a whole lot of answers, or get in after someone has already said something like you think? I do not know. Maybe you should check out some of the discussions with 0 answers? Just to get you going again and get you on to a good best response streak?

I am sorry to hear that, Zelmarq..I don't remember if you go to many of my discussions, but I do try to be fair in picking a BR..I got one yesterday and saw I got another today, but you know, most of the time, I wonder why my reply was even picked...

Its just crossed my mind. There were times that I had sevral best responses in a day and i guess those were the days when I was actively posting and participating in discussions.

Well, it also been so much time gap, when i did get a last best response, i think its become over a week lolz, and this is just because i am not getting as many response these days so i need to do a lots of responses to get some best response, hope you will get a BR soon.
Keep posting!!! and one day you will find a bunch of BR's notification in your Email box...

I think I just got two yesterday, modesty aside. I was away for four weeks and I was so focused on mylot this week and at least my effort were rewarded.
Just keep on posting on the issues that you are interested in and don't pretend to know everything. Just try to state your view and never force your view on other people. YOu are right that there are a lot of people here and getting the best response mark is not easy. It must come with some luck that no better answer was posted over your answer :-)
