RECIPE BOOKS... the food you cooked seemed TOTALLY DIFFERENT W/ PICS!!!

Hahah... those recipe books really looks nice and delicious. The picture makes you wanna eat them all. But have you tried to cook them? The food even look totally different from the picture there...
Do you think the ingredients still incorrect? Or maybe the i didnt follow all the instruction there? How could it be? I just wonder...

Oh, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as the food tastes good, who cares how it looks?
The photographs in cook books are also all enhanced with photoshop editting, creative lighting, possibly wax or some shine-inducer, and et cetera to make them look much more appetizing.

Sometimes it's not the same with the pics but at other times i could make it almost the same. it's probably because of the ingredients or the brand of the ingredients. you know, they usually mentioned only the ingredients but not the brand. i just happen to know this when trying to differentiate the brand of flour. and yes, each brand of flour has its own use and characteristic which make them different from one another. pick the right brand for your cooking and you'll have it nearly the same with the book. that's my tip. hope will work :) happy cooking....
