I know we all have heard about the show Big Give right?Well if not the show is about going out and helping someone in need, they are given so much money to do the best deed possible with in the time allowed. So if you had the chance to do what they are doing how would you give big?
I would give to people who struggle who have kids, and charities who really help the people and/or really help one persons life, where they could live a good life and always have a place to call home.

I would donate tons of money to help disabled people, children/youth, artists, animals, and further democracy. I would divide the money between the taks. I'd try to help physically and in prson rather than just giving money, as I feel that actually doing stuff rather than just giving dollars is easier to inspire people (and as I'm disabled, people tend to look at me as a source of inspiration, even if I don't want to).

I just got done watching the Big Give tonight, Awesome!
I do have some ideas I plan on implimenting later this year. I'm in the process of making 2 big baby quilts and one other quilt (I'm not sure how big it will end up being). But I am going to donate the two baby quilts for sure to a local shelter (one thing I still need to look into).
After I get the quilt tops done, I will get them ready to tie together. I plan on taking them to my MOPS group and for our craft we will tie these quilts and present them to a local charity/shelter. I wanted to do it this winter, but the funds weren't available. And since I'm doing all the sewing and several people have donated material to me, the cost to MOPS will be very minimal if any.
So my goal this summer is to finish the two baby quilts and get them ready to go. I'll see how much time I have for the larger quilt, it is a bit more involved in piecing.
But it is something I'm very excited about.

Gee, I don't know if I would give it all to one organization or break it up among several. There are so many good causes out there. I don't think I could even just pick one area, like literacy, or bre*st cancer, or the homeless.
BTW, the filtering software is a tad too sensitive. Not every instance of the word bre*st is x-rated.
