Whatever thing comes in my mind, most of the time I do it immediately and never like to postpone anything. It's my own experince that If I postpone anything, oftes it happens to be unaccomplished all the time or I can say it will never be done. Many times I enjoyed the friuls of a task accomplished in time. Share your experiences.

This happened to me quite recently and I'm paying the price for that now. But, I had a bill to pay and I asked my daughter to make the payment last Friday but due to it being Good Friday, they told her to come back. OK. so I got up the other morning to do it but didn't want to be late for work since it would cause me problems, and they cut off my water behind it. My mom kept saying they were going to do it and it just hurt me to the core. Fortunately, she is gone to my uncle's, but that made me want to call her and say, well your right. but I won't.

You are exactly like my husband - he wants to do whatever he thinks about last week - and I'm a total opposite...lol. I'm a procrastinator extraordinaire and I know it and I'm really trying to change; actually, I'm going to start trying to change on Monday.

I have to say I agree. However if I'm busy doing something else, I'll put it on my "to do" list to be sure it gets done. I'm not a procrasinater but my husband sure is and because of that, he forgets about what needs doing.

i don't procrastinate as much as I used to. i've learned you can enjoy other things a lot more if you get the things you don't want to do out of the way first. anytime i postpone something it seems to never happen, so you either do it while you can or you might lose the chance.

that's a very valid point.
I often postponed some tasks back then and later I was the one who got the troubles. the tasks would often be unaccomplished and I would need to spend times to rush for them more than the times I spent on other things like some useless activities that postponed the tasks I should have done.
and yes, when I did put my priority on the tasks and I didn't postpone in doing them, when they finally get accomplished, I would feel some certain satified feeling, that cannot be compared to the fun I got from the useless activities that postponed most of other tasks. so, yes, better do what I need to do now, rather than later or tomorrow.
it would also avoid later needless frustration that should have never come if we do what we have to do exactly at that moment.

That's a good philosophy. I should do what I have been planning for some time and learn to play guitar. I can sing, but when I have tried to join bands the guitarists have all liked my voice but have been very fussy over what style of music they want to produce and have not been flexible at all. I should learn guitar and then I would only need a drummer and a bass guitarist. In my experience they tend to be less fussy than lead guitarists lol, although I'm sure that some lead guitarists are flexible and easy going. I should stop procrastinating and get on with it.
