remake movies

nowadays, people would love to do a remake on this movie or that movie. like the japanese horror, ring which was remaked on how many years ago. then it followed by the grudge, the eye, the shutter, a tale of two sister which is coming soon. so which is better for you? the original or the remaked one?

I am yet to come across a movie that bettered the original.The worst and gross is the nutty professor.It brought tears into my eyes .The way they made a mess of that movie is something disgusting.Another one is Dr Dolittle.They belittled the original one.Sadly Eddy is the hero in both the movies.He never can replace Jerry Lewis or Rex Harrison.

yeah you're right about that. some of the remakes are just a mess, they just love to ruin some of the original movies

if the movie was good to begin with then why make a remake ? I allmost allways end up dissapointed with the remakes,i think it also shows disrespect for the original movie. Remakes are simply better,they were created first ;)

i still like the original ones. comparing the two makes me come into conclusion that the remake often exclude some things that are in the original. and the feel is very much different when watching the remake :)
