where do you prefer to watch movies?

We always watch movies at home. We belong to Netflix, because it is the greatest value to us. I haven't been to a theatre in years (about 5 or more). My husband is very uncomfortable in movie theatres and usually falls asleep, lol. We save money, but also have the freedom to pause to go the the bathroom or get snacks. We can also choose what we want to snack on, lol, and don't have to pay a fortune for it. Great topic.

I almost always watch movies at home. I usually get DVDs from the library so it's free. Movies tickets and food are really expensive. I like being able to relax at home and pause or rewind if I have to. Also, the food I snack on while watching DVDs home is cheaper, tastes better, and is usually much healthier.

I prefer to watch movies from the comfort of my own home, I know it's a smaller screen than going to the movies, but you are not disturbed by people at home or by mobiles going off, or by the expense of going to the cinema. You can stop and start it whenever you like and you don't have to sit through trailers and commercials which seem to last forever! I have Sky so wait for the great films to come on Sky premier/box office.

i love watching movies in theater because there you will really feel the what the movie is about because of the big screen and the good sound they have which you cant have in the your home theater or dvd player plus you get to see a lot of people and even interact with them....

I agree. Watching movies at home is not only better because it allows you to save money on tickets and gas, but also, you can pause it if you'd like, and you don't have to deal with any annoying, obnoxious people interrupting your good time watching the movie. I hate when people are loud and rude because other people are trying to enjoy the movie and it's a distraction and sometimes causes you not to hear certain parts of the movie. I once went to a movie and there was a whole group of obnoxious people on their cellphone and shakig their keys around to make a lot of noise. I usually try to tolerate this, but it was too much so I told the usher, who did NOTHING. I was so mad! That was probably one of the worst times I've had in a movie theater. My boyfriend and I go out to the movies once or twice a month, btu I do prefer watching movies at home. He's the one who likes to go to the theater.

Watch movies, I like use computer to watch movie. Usually, I download movies from the internet, then, when I have free time, I will sit down on the sofa, open my computer, prepare a cup of coffee and watch movies. I think that's wonderful.
