Have you noticed how strange the objectionable list is for my lot?

I just finished responding to a post and realized that the objectionable word list for mylot is rather subjective. We can use words like stupid and fart but we cannot use the word koon. I have a MaineCoon cat that I have written posts about and I get the "no no" alert about the koon part of the word (when I use a space between the Maine and the other part. I find it kind of interesting.

I think the computer or person, must take words that resemble slangs, of old and new. This makes sense, its best to be sorry than to hurt someone's feeling.
I am glad that they are respectful with this language of codes and ethics. Good Job MyLot

That is ridiculous. Maybe that is why some of my discussions have been deleted.

I do have to say that the objectionable word list does make a person stop and think of a different spelling for the word you want to use. It gives new meaning to phonetically spelling your words! (LOL)

LOL it is odd from a common sense standpoint but I assume that they use an algorithm rather than an actual person (it's cheaper) to censor writing on myLot. It's not an actual individual writing those rules, it is whatever is easier to program.
