I remember as a child I used to think it very unfair that we got holiday from school and not from church. I often found church to be a drag and a place where my parents forced me to go. I much rathered staying home and playing or reading some Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew etc... Now I have to laugh and sympathise with kids such as my nephew when they echo the same sentiments now. Were you like this and do you find your children doing the same thing?

Haha! That reminds me, yes, I used to. I would just get into bed and tell my mom that I am not feeling well just to avoid church. I have few occasions back in my childhood days when I really don't feel the need to go to church. Having so consumed with a lot of house chores anticipated when I get home. LOL. I would rather read and finish some pocket books I am fond of doing than attend church and get sleepy always. That was yesterdays! Funny really!

Funny how kids all over the world pull the same stunt to get out of something. Sometimes only one foot of a sock or shoe could be found and for we innocently knew, the devil may have taken it. Ah ah ah. The things we do as children. (lol)
