I must admit to having more than one that I love... I love hummingbirds, white herons, hawks, junkos, turkey vultures, mourning doves, white doves, crows and other birds as well... the hummingbird for its beauty and joyful ways, the white heron as to me it looks like the soul in flight, the hawk and the turkey vulture as master flyers, the junko as a friendly bird that reminds me of family relationships. the crow as it is intelligent and trainable, and the mourning dove as its call is so sweet and as the bird appears to be so gentle and the white dove as a bird of peace... I enjoy other birds for their song and still other birds for their looks but the birds that I have mentioned are my favorite so far.

The only bird we have had in the house is a canary. Other than that, I just feed them outside. The weather is warming up so I won't get to see as much of them around here. They are very interesting to watch, but I don't know as if I really have a favorite. They are all unique.

hello sskmaestro, my favorite bird is a parrot. Parrots are a very popular group of birds. Their colourful patterns and cute mannerisms, including picking things up with their feet and climbing with their bills, endears them to us all. The budgerigar is one of the most popular pets in the world and several other species of parrot enjoy popularity because of their ability to mimic human speech. In fact, a number of species of parrot are endangered in the wild because of excessive trapping for the pet trade. Ultimately, though they make wonderful long-lived pets, parrots like all birds are best seen flying wild. have a good day and take care. happy postings.

I love eagles and other birds of prey - the way they fly! If I come back to life as something else, I want to come back as an eagle@

i love the corvids, especially blue jays, gray jays, staellar's jays, magpies, ravens and crows. wait, i think i listed all of them.also, hummingbirds. i held one in my hand once. it flew in an open window and couldn't escape. it sounded exactly like a bumblebee in the house! he was so quiet in my hands, probably paralyzed with fear.
