I was looking at the blogger site Jihadi Du Jour, and the newest articles are about the Islamist threats to YouTube about the Fitna video. you can view the video here http://jihadidujour.blogspot.com/. I just wanted to know what everyone thinks about getting our first amendment rights violated because of terror threats.

You need learn what the First Amendment is before you bandy it about. Study the Constitution before making such uninformed statements. First off, to have rights, you must first accept the responsibilities that come with them. As mentioned above, one of those responsibilities would be to know what the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and other amendments are actually about. Do you even know what rights are protected by the First Amendment? Secondly, your protections under the First Amendment are limited. Sites like YouTube, and even myLot, do not have to publish everything you submit. If you bother to read the website's TOS (terms of service), FAQs, and Community Guidelines you would know what content the site allows. Websites do not violate protections of the First Amendment when they decline to publish something you submit that does not conform to their guidelines. As the provider of the forum space the webistes are within their rights to set and maintain their own standards.

I didn't ask for your enterpretation of our bill of rights, i asked what you think of the video that was posted on the Jihadi Du Jour website that you probably never bothered to view. If your going to shoot someone down try to make it relevent to the conversation. Thank You.

Thanks for posting this. It is important to have this discussion. While some want to condemn the government for wiretapping suspected terrorists as a breach of the Bill Of Rights, our true freedoms seem to be daily given away for the sake of PC and tolerance.
