Can't you do it yourself?!

Well, I was working last night, at Wal-Mart, yay. That was sarcastic (well the yay part was). Anywho, I had a lot to do, as it was Friday night, and I'm the only one in my department as my department manager is off for the weekend and the other woman that works in the department is out on sick leave. In the middle of the night, around 2am., my overnight manager gives me a ring over the loudspeaker. I call him back, thinking that I'm in trouble or something, because they never call you unless your in trouble. It turned out, that he wanted me to fetch some frozen jugs of water from the Ice Cream freezer and bring them to the other side of the store to sporting goods! I did it of course, because I figured he was the only person over there, and was busy doing something. Yeah, he was busy doing something alright, TALKING TO THE GUY IN SPORTING GOODS! They were just sitting there having a conversation. I handed them the bottles, only to be given a weird look, and asked, "Why didn't you grab all three?" I got mad, and told them that I have a lot of my own work to do, including finishing up on my backstock, doing all my new freight, as well as doing my frozen stuff. I hate it when manager's have you do something that they are completely capable of doing themselves. Especially when the only reason he asked me to do it was because him and the guy in sporting goods were too busy having a chat! I ended up having to stay an extra hour this morning to get my stuff done, go figure, and the sporting goods guy was done before 4am. Don't you hate it when people have you do something, that they are fully capable of doing themselves? I wish people would just stop being lazy and DO IT THEMSELVES!
