How did you or your BF propose to you/your girl?

My husband has his own band and they had placed in a competition. The rewards ceremony was at a hall/ club/ bar..kind of an all over place:) Anyway when they went up to accept their award my husband/ bf at the time asked if his inspiration could come up so he could Thank her. LOL..I had no idea he was talking about me..thats how clueless I was at the time. Anyway I went up their after a few seconds and he started talking about how he had found the person he could spend the rest of his life with and got down on one knee in front of over a hundred people and proposed to me. I was a blibbering idiot. Totally red in the face and sorta embarassed because I had never been in that situation and of course I said yes. It was the best thing that had ever happened to me and it was romatic even though the moment was shared with a lot of people :)

I am on my 2nd (an last, I hope!) marriage. My ex-husband was a jerk. I guess he never really proposed, not technically. He never asked me to marry him. We were at my dad's house one Christmas and he slid the ring box across the table. I opened it, waited for him to say something, and when he didn't, I just put it on my finger and shrugged my shoulders like "whatever". My husband now is the total opposite of my ex. We were on our way to his house one day and he told me he had 6 things for me. First, he pulled over and gave me a box of long-stemmed red roses (thing #1) that also had a Kit-Kat candy bar (my favorite candy bar) in the box (thing #2). When we got to his house, he had fixed me dinner, made my plate, and served it to me (thing #3). After dinner, he pulled me into a slow dance and sang one of our songs to me (Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd - thing #4). After that, he took me to the bedroom and gave me a full body massage (thing #5). Then he got on one knee and gave me a long, sweet speech about how he never met anyone like me, how I've made his life better.....and asked me if I would give him the honor of spending the rest of my life as his wife (thing #6).

Hi there! Well, we were riding on a bus when he asked me. It was the day before Valentine's day and we are going to their home after spending the night in my place because we went home really late when we attended a dance in my sisters' school. We just feel that we don't want to be not with each other anymore and decided to live together.

i was never actually proposed to...we ended up finding out my daughter was coming before he had a chance to ask me...he was planning on it, but life always seems to have different plans lol...there is a saying that goes life is what haooebs to you while you were too busy making plans, i think that applies to us, lol.
