Do you go for the New England Clam Chowder in the white cream sauce or the Manhattan in the red sauce? I will always go with the New England version. Throw some pieces of butter on top and serve it with a nice thick slice of Italian bread and I am one happy camper.

I like New England Clam Chowder hest but dislike that sometimes people put bacon in it. I like the Manhattan style when I have a cold as the New England style one then causes additional mucus which is no fun to have when you have a cold. So it depends on how I am.

I also love New England Clam Chowder. WHen I was young my brother got picked to do this modeling thing. I was really jealous. So when we would go to pick up my brother my mom would take me to this fancy little bistro and we'd have New England Clam Chowder. Why would you put butter in your soup?

I prefer the Manhattan style of clam chowder. That is the one my mother always used to make. I never did like the taste of the New England one. Boy, I haven't had clam chowder for years!
